Have you counted the cost, to follow Jesus. Matt.10:37-38 says “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.”
Paul exhorts us in 2Cor.13:5 to “Examine yourselves (not everybody else) whether ye be in the faith: prove you own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus is in you, expect ye be reprobates.” (rejected) Oh, Lord don’t let me preach to others and like Paul said in 1Cor.9:27 and “…I myself should be a castaway.” (Be disqualified for the prize).
