Hope For The Hurting

27 May 2019
Off

Our church’s motto is Hope for the Hurting.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4,
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we are comforted of God.”

The Hope we have today is in Jesus Christ. There are so many today who are hurting. We as a body of believers are called to extend a hand to help, encourage, pray and teach them. People need to know they are loved. There is a saying, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care”.

Our world is so full of hate and evil. There is deliverance. Jesus is the only
answer. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus”,
Romans 3:23-24.

God bless you and may the Lord awaken everyone to what it is, to the blessed hope of our Lord’s coming for His bride that hath made herself ready.

“Has anybody told you they loved you today?” Jesus does and we do too.

A Word Of Thanks

Those of us who understand, that freedom doesn’t come without a price, I want to give thanks for all those who were willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice with their life, so those of us that are living can worship in freedom. Patrick Henry said “Give me freedom or give me death” exemplifies the kind of men and women, many of them were, who won the freedoms we have today. What so many don’t understand is these freedoms, they were willing to die for, were not won, for us to do as we please, but to do as we should.

For those who don’t know, let me tell you, we all have an enemy; Satan, who comes, but to kill, steal and destroy. Oh but the good news is Jesus has come that you might have life and have it more abundantly, John 10:10 For those who want to burn our flag, and are, yes “Hell bent” on destroying American history, who want to depict Christ in a bottle of urine, yes are able to do as they please now, because of those willing to die than to live in bondage. Thank God for Jesus’ willingness to lay his life down for mine, so that I could be free from sin and death. Now that’s reason enough to serve him with all my heart, soul, mind and strength and to love my neighbor as myself. God bless all those who served. For your soul’s sake, don’t take your freedoms for granted.

Wake Up Church

Wake up Church, the bridegroom cometh. This week, with a crisis at our border, the now Democratic controlled House is “having a hearing on a bill that would force Americans into agreeing that men and women can arbitrarily change their sex by just saying they are not male or female.” I can’t speak for others, but having studied and read the Bible through over the past 48 years many times, and been preaching 29 can now see why God sent the flood, and told Israel to completely destroy all those Canaanites. I can’t help but believe the cry as was in Sodom and Gomorrah with this kind of a hearing on such a bill, is once again happening. Oh but the good news is, the door is still open, and for those who have a conscience that has not been seared, or caught up with the cares of this life, and it’s uncertain riches, know Jesus coming could be any day now. Oh what a day of rejoicing, at last the knowledge of the Lord will fill the earth, and those who have yielded to their master Satan, will be rolling in the billows of Hell for eternity. We’re now seeing what happens when people and a nation forgets God,

Psa.9:17
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God."

You don’t have to be among the many that Jesus said would wax cold, but among those who will endure till the end. Jesus gave a parable that His supper was ready and they all made excuses, “Saying I cannot come” and He was angry, and sent his servants out, and said go quickly into the hedges and highways and compel them to come in that my house may be filled. Don’t be among those who keep on making excuse, but look up, and hold on, Jesus could come any day now. Maranatha!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our church website. If you do not have a home church, I invite you to visit us. Our church believes in the inerrancy of scripture and faith comes by hearing the Word of God. I believe in being saved, sanctified and filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the emphasis of being Rapture Ready.
