Something to think about!!! Were the fires in Lahaina, Maui, deliberately set, or the judgment of God or both? What person, who has not been desensitized by television and internet imagery of so much violence and killing for years, is not heartbroken over what you’ve seen? We mourn over such loss of life, homes and businesses that were lost.
So that I am not taken wrong here, let us remember the words of Jesus in Luke13:2-5 “Suppose ye that these Galileans were sinners above all the Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were (worse) sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” What I would like to point out, that divine judgment should also be considered, sending a message of things to come. I just read behind Jan Markell that Hawaii was the first state to legalize gay marriage in 2011 before Massachusetts in 2013, which God calls an abomination Lev.18:22-29. She quoted “Go Gay Hawaii” welcomes everyone to gay-friendly Maui on a website built for just such promotion. The Maui gay community is substantial and accepting. There are numerous LGBT and gay-friendly businesses on the island, exclusive Maui gay resorts and plenty to see, do and experience on this magical island. Maui Gay Pride is a staple event taking place each year around the first weekend in October. Interestingly enough, about the only structure in Lahaina not destroyed was a church, though it was not a gospel preaching church.” Whether or not it was man or God, this is a prelude for the judgments to come not only upon the world, but upon the church, that has for the sake of acceptance, tolerance, and inclusiveness, turned the Word of God into a lie. Telling people that God accepts us just the way we are, and you don’t have to turn from such sins. There is some truth within the statement, but together makes it out to be a lie. Jesus made it unmistakably clear, except you repent, turn from sin and to God, you will be cast into hell, with Satan and all those angels that rebelled against God. Don’t be deceived, and think, that God has changed his mind about sin, he has not. Oh, but there is still good news, the head of the Church is knocking at the church door and all the lost, who have been arrested for broking God’s law, and who will (2 Cor.7:10) in godly sorrow, repent, and receive Jesus as the Lord of your life and take up the cross by denying yourself he has promised to save.
Listen, if you have not had your conscience seared, God is saying, come to Jesus, while the door is still open, before you find yourself in the tribulation. My prayer is that you will not be one of those who can’t be saved after the rapture. 1Thess .2:10-12 who adequately heard the truth, but had no love for the truth, because you loved the pleasures of unrighteousness instead, if you are one of those, there will be no hope for you. Yes, I believe the river will run deep in blood Rev.17:6 as Bro. JD Collins said of all those who had rather die for Jesus Rev.20:4 and have their head cut off, rather than accept the Antichrist, but why wait. If you can’t make it now, having temptations to resist, what makes you think you can stand when persecution comes, and you will have to place your head under a chopping block.
I challenge you now, rise and be healed in the name of Jesus. He has the power to set you free from all sin. Jesus loves you; the true church loves you, even those in hell (Luke 16:19-31) don’t want you to go that horrible place.
Get a backbone and tell those who are leading you down the broad road that leads to destruction, that you’re done with low living. Like Joshua of old, that as for you, you’re going to serve the Lord. My prayer is, that this brings you into the loving arms of the Lord Jesus Christ. Maranatha!!!

Something to think about!!! I heard a preacher at Camp meeting about 25 to 30 years ago say “We use to have negative preaching and positive living, now we have positive preaching and negative living.” I know people want to hear positive messages, and I do to, but their ain’t no power unless you have the negative and positive preaching. Before you can get a man saved, you first of all have got to get him lost, and that happens by showing him he has broken the law (Gal.3:24) and have him hanging over hell, thinking he’s about to fall into it and then you can throw out the life line of the gospel. And if they have not been desensitized by Helli wood, and has any senses left, he will cry out for grace and mercy in godly sorrow, repenting and ask Jesus to come into his life, and be his Lord, and take up the cross and follow Him. With signs everywhere pointing to the soon coming of the Lord, any day now, surely we would be warning people like Noah did their is a flood coming, get in the ark of safety (Jesus) before the door is shut. The great preacher Charles Spurgeon wrote “A time is coming when Instead of shepherds feeding sheep, the church will have clowns entertaining goats.” Oh, Church wake up. Jeremiah 9:1 “O that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night…” someone may ask for what, for the lukewarm church to awake, (Rev.3:14-22) before the larger portion is poured out into the tribulation. (Matt.16:27-28, 17:1) Noah’s day did not believe it, neither did they believe it when Jesus came (Luk.19:41-44) and neither do they believe it in our day. (Matt.24:39) Oh Lord we need revival, let it start in me. Maranatha!!!!!

Sobering!!! W. V. Grant wrote, “How to be lost without committing sin.” Hebrews 2:3 says “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation…” “This did not say, “How shall we escape” if we are a liar, murderer, gambler, bank robber, horse thief, or an adulterer. This said “How shall we escape if we neglect…” You don’t need to steal, gamble, or lie. Just neglect and there is no way for you to enter the gates of that city. Don’t fool yourself!” This little book of 48 pages would be worth reading, seeing we are on the threshold of the coming of the Lord, if you have been neglecting, obeying the word of God.

Having read brother Hanks post “The third temple and the coming of the Lord” several things tell us, Jesus coming is truly at the door. Consider for yourself right now, 1. “The government has shifted funds from other accounts for the purpose of preparing for the purification rituals and possibly the third temple. 2. Two weeks ago, a group of Jews from the tribe of Levi, and the priestly family set apart by Moses, enacted a practice run of the original ceremony! 3. The oldest of the red heifers is just months away from being old enough to sacrifice for the purification ceremony. 4. Kobi Mamo, CEO of Ancient Shiloh said, “We are yearning for the temple, and suddenly a red heifer is here, and we know what that means. Something is about to happen.”) Oh, that the church knew what time it was. (Rom.13:11) Having listened to the prophets God raised up for the past 60 years or more, the temple cannot be built until the church has been taken out. Did you hear what he said, they believe something is about to happen, yes, the rapture of the church, and many are neglecting (which means to be careless, make light) clearly is Laodicea.

If you have ever prayed and fasted for your loved ones and compelled them to examine themselves as 2Cor.13:5 says now is the time. Now is the time to make your calling and election sure. I can’t speak for others but after 53 years of searching the scriptures those who are lukewarm will be spued out of the Lord’s mouth into the horrible tribulation period. It’s true I can’t judge your heart only God can do that, yet Jesus said ye shall know them by the fruit they bear. If I was negligent, in anything that you know you ought to be doing, I’d repent and ask Jesus to give you the want too to serve Him in a life of obedience.

W. V. Grant said “Many people seem to think just because they do not commit sin or if they are not guilty of the sin of transgression they are not sinners, but you can be guilty of the sin of disobedience and be a sinner, and be lost. There is no way for you to go to heaven if you are disobeying God. If you can’t obey God here, how can we obey God there. I never thought I would have seen this, in our day, when the signs are everywhere pointing to, that any day now Jesus is coming for his bride, to whom he said Luke 21:36 “to watch and pray that ye may be account worthy to escape all these things” that so many would be so careless and take so lightly the Kings’ invitation to the marriage supper.

It seems that the church world has brought into the farce doctrine, of once saved always saved, overlooking all the warnings, that clearly teach conditions. Oh Lord, awaken your church that causes her to shake itself from the negligence, of reading your word, praying, working, gathering into the house of God, studying the word, so they can give and answer to those who ask for a reason of the hope that lies within us.

Oh Lord, shake us out of the slumber and sleep, for truly the bridegroom cometh. Oh, Lord, fill my vessel full of oil. Don’t let me be one of those foolish virgins.

Wow, I never thought it would be so quick!!! We were given a message on Father’s Day. Father’s, it’s time to fight for your family. Not sure of the date this month, but at a NYC pride parade, an estimated two million participants came, and boldly chanted “We’re here, we’re queer and coming for your children.” The late David Wilkerson said before he died “that a flood of filth would flood this land” and it is here. If you think they are just joking, “Legislative laws have already been passed that bypass parents, with the authority to remove children from their homes in the event that a parent is unwilling to support their child’s desired gender.”

Oh, the longsuffering of God, who still has the door open, and the cry to come into the ark, and to get out of the cities of (Sodom and Gomorrah) before his wrath is poured out on the same perversion that brought the flood and fire and brimstone, completely destroying all but Noah and seven others, and Lot and his two daughters.

What person is not broken and brought to sighing over such wickedness of a Nation? Shouldn’t we as a blood bought child of the Most High God, who loved us enough to give His beloved Son, to pay our debt of sin, cry aloud?

I must ask this question, is this a part of God’s plan, in separating the wheat from the tares, where he will find out whether you and I are true wheat or a tare. I believe one way he will know, before he brings his wrath, is to find out as with Israel, those who are sighing over all the abominations going on in our day. Consider Eze.9:4-6 “And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have pity: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark: and begin at my sanctuary…”

The time for wishy washy, the straddling of the fence is over, and fall face forward and crying out to God to have mercy upon our apathy, lethargy, complacency, lukewarmness, lack of commitment, and get on fire for God, and go and compel your loved ones to get right with God. You mustn’t put it off another day, fall down in godly sorrow and repent of every sin and receive Jesus into your heart as the Lord and Savior of your life. Rom.10:8-10, 2Cor.7:10, 1Joh.1:9, John 1:12 and 2Tim.2:19. Don’t be one of those left behind, you can be saved and stay saved if you will trust and obey the Spirit of God, who has come to lead and guide you into all truth John 16:13. Maranatha!!!
